Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network, Server, and Cloud Systems Specialist to join our team. This role requires extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, VMware, and cloud technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, and supporting the integration of on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Administration:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure system security.
- Manage VPNs, VLANs, and other network configurations.
- Server and Virtualization Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers, including VMware environments.
- Optimize virtualized environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure system integrity.
- Cloud Solutions:
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions, particularly within Microsoft Azure.
- Support hybrid cloud environments and facilitate the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Configure and manage Azure services, including VMs, networking, storage, and identity management.
- Security and Compliance:
- Maintain IT security standards, including access control, patch management, and system hardening.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Technical Support:
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network, server, and virtualization issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in network administration, server management, VMware, and cloud solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware environments (e.g., vSphere, vCenter).
- Experience with networking protocols and hardware, including Cisco, Meraki, or similar.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation, including VMware DR solutions.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, VCP (VMware Certified Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.

Pay: $42,600.00 - $62,500.00 per year
