Data Center Cable Technician

A large Data Center in Prineville, OR is hiring multiple Data Center Cable Technicians to join the team for a great opportunity!
Job Duties:

• Duties and team plan given daily by Project Lead and complete racks, daily avg about 10 per day.
• The team will be performing 240 swaps per day on average.
• Unlatch and switches, repair, replace DIMM and reinstall, swap optics.
• Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.
• Fiber and Telecom installation knowledge and experience - Fiber, Cat5, Cat6
• This is physical work, up and down ladders, putting together server cabinets, and cabling, etc.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp being a plus but not required.
• Willing to look at candidates with no cabling experience who want to get into the trade as they are willing to train.
• Prefer Cabling experience ( coax, fiber, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc.) but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Need to have a strong work ethic.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
