Job Duties:
- Duties and team plan given daily by Project Lead and complete racks.
- Unlatch and switches, repair, replace DIMM and reinstall, swap optics.
- Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.
- Fiber and Telecom installation knowledge and experience - Fiber, Cat5, Cat6
- This is physical work, up and down ladders, putting together server cabinets, and cabling, etc.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp being a plus but not required.
- Willing to look at candidates with no cabling experience who want to get into the trade as they are willing to train.
- Prefer Cabling experience ( coax, fiber, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc.) but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Need to have a strong work ethic.
