Key Responsibilities:

• Database Environment: The warehouse environment includes MSSQL and MySQL.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and enhance database performance, including query tuning and storage management.
• Maintenance Tasks: Perform regular maintenance activities such as indexing, backups, and updates.
• ETL Workflows: Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to maintain ETL workflows, supporting data pipelines and integration tasks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Data Warehouse Management: Design and manage data warehouse schemas to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Advanced Solutions: Develop solutions to support advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs.
• Security Measures: Implement security measures for databases, including role-based access control and encryption.
• Compliance: Ensure databases comply with organizational and regulatory standards for data privacy and security.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, such as outages, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity problems.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Best Practices: Offer recommendations for database best practices and improvements.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous existing experience with MSSQL, SSIS, MySQL, and data warehouses.
  • MSSQL Server administration, development, and optimization.
  • Utilizing SSIS for ETL workflows and data integration.
  • Setting up, configuring, and maintaining MySQL databases.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing data warehouses.
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with Crystal Reports is advantageous.
• Independence: Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-sufficiency and self-motivation.
• Key Technologies: Proficiency in SSIS, MySQL, and Crystal Reports
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting for database queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Custom Reports: Experience with Crystal Reports for developing custom reports.
• Cloud Solutions: Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions such as Azure SQL and AWS RDS.
• Data Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
