Out healthcare client is in need of a Data Analyst who has experience working in healthcare. Specifically they would like to have someone who understands various data in healthcare like claims data.
POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be highly analytical and skilled in healthcare administration as well as business management. Responsible for extracting, compiling, organizing and managing large and varied sets of healthcare data, analyzing data and communicating their findings through use of data visualization tools and detailed reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Healthcare Administration or Business related or equivalent field
Two or more years of related experience in an analytic role Knowledge of data management applications
Proficiency with a data visualization tool such as PowerBI(preferred), Tableau , SiSense etc. is a must and experience with EPIC EMR system software and EPIC reporting capabilities such as SlicerDicer, etc. desired
Needs to understand health care data elements and standards(835, 837, 276, 277 etc.)
Certified Health Care Data Analysis(CHDA) certification desirable
JOB FUNCTIONS
Extract, compile, and organize healthcare data.
Analyze data to assist in delivering data visualization tools
Working with clients , both internal and external, to develop visual representation of data using tools.
Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
Investigating data to find patterns and trends.
Converting raw data into usable information that is easy to understand.
Developing reports and presentations.
Communicating analytic insights to management.
Identify process improvement opportunities to improve data relevance.
