Day to day:
In the beginning-
-Knowledge transfer with different team members, shadow the team, learn the infrastructure they have and understand the day to day tasks. They have an aggressive patching evaluation process.
-Once candidates are cleared, then it turns into self managed tasks around monitoring networks, troubleshooting networking and telecom issues, and additional project work.
They are primarily a Cisco shop with some virtualized networking in VMware.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.02 - $52.25
