Our healthcare client is looking for a Network Security Engineer. In this position, you will be working with a team of 7 engineers to deliver network security, design and engineering services for the enterprise network. This person will be called on to plan, design, install, manage and maintain the overall enterprise network from a network security side. They will be responsible for:

1) 5 to 7 yrs experience with maintenance and support of Palo Alto and Cisco ASA, Firepower security as well as Palo Alto WAF..
2) 5 to 7 yrs. experience with engineering, Design and maintenance of Cisco 6500, 4500, 3800, ASR, ISR, routing protocols (EIGRP, RIP, BGP, ISIS, mulitcast)
3). 5-7 years Experience in an enterprise level environment with all security, Blue Coat and CyberArch.
4.) Should have strong F5 Load Balancing experience (GTM and LTM)
Responsibilities:
Design, maintain, and monitor extensive Firewall and F5 environments per hospital standards.
Implement and support multi-vendor Firewall platforms featuring Palo Alto series Firewalls and Cisco ASA.
Daily Maintenance and checks of all Firewall and F5 related equipment.
Maintain and organize reporting information and documentation for Management review
Maintain both high level and detailed levels of documentation as required for all PaloAlto, F5 and Gigamon environments.
Perform routine maintenance functions for all systems including OS upgrades, hardware fixes, etc
Provide second and third level support for all Firewall and F5 systems.
On Call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
Evening and weekend work on occasion.
This position will be working on overall support supporting their ticketing systems with VPN issues etc. To handling projected based work. A specific project they currently have is Re-Designing the internet infrastructure from building out a new IP Addressing to site to site VPN's, etc.
Qualifications
5 years of technical and network design experience with in a large enterprise environment
3 years of related experience with Cisco products (routing/switching--Nexus Series, Catalyst, etc.)
Experience in analysis of business system requirements
Experience with the following technologies :
Palo Altos, Nexus 3k, 5k, 7k, Cisco 6500, 4500, 3800, ASR, ISR, routing protocols (EIGRP, RIP, BGP, ISIS, multicast), Gigamon. F5 load balancing.
Network certification CCIE or equivalent experience level is highly preferred
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Candidates need to have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have good documentation experience. Candidates should be self motivated, ambitiousness, and have a willingness to learn and grow.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 7 years working with Network Firewalls / Palo Alto experience is preferred.
At least 5 years working with F5 LTM
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify the cause of an issue and determine a solution.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Ability to focus, manage your time and your work, and get things done quickly, efficiently, and completely.
Dependable.
Experience and desire to work in a team environment with other engineers.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
