TEKsystems is seeking Logistics Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an on-site position located at a TEKsystems warehouse facility in Sterling, VA. This position will provide surge capacity to the TEKsystems warehouse facility to support end user and network teams. The qualified applicant will become part of TEKsystems's United States Coast Guard (USCG) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) program. This program is an enterprise IT delivery service and is executed to bring innovation and modernization to the USCG enterprise IT environment, within a managed service business model. The USCG enterprise encompasses an extensive range of IT infrastructure services and has unique solution challenges to meet their mission needs.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities may include:
Performs shipping/receiving activities related to receive, store, and/or ship materials.
Ensures materials are receipted, delivered to inventory, staged/stored, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner.
Unpacks and packs materials to support the efficient processing and configuration of hardware by responsible teams.
Creates and affixes shipping labels to materials to support accurate outbound shipments.
Ensures the warehouse is organized and material is efficiently stored/staged to support day-to-day warehouse operations.
Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per schedules.
Drives vehicles to transport material from the warehouse to other locations, as required.
Performs other logistics related activities as required.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The employee is required to drive and transport materials from the warehouse to other locations.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
