Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

TEKsystems seeks a highly experienced and energetic experienced Systems Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command contract, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Job Duties :

• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.
• Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Qualifications - External
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ related experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Developing and / or sustaining national security, no-fail mission systems.
• Experience leading waterfall-to-agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence.
• Experience with a broad range of system types : custom developed HW / SW, COTS / GOTS HW / SW, and specialty engineering of exotic material / limited supply items.
• A high degree of proficiency using DOORs.
• Experience with implementing and sustaining distributed systems, virtual operating system environments, and virtual / augmented reality technologies. Qualifications
