Job Description
We are seeking an experienced medical billing professional to work under the supervision of our Central billing manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with the billing function of all payers, including facility billing.
- Primarily responsible for government billing, specifically Medi-Cal.
Key Skills:
- Medical billing and coding
- CPT coding
- ICD-9 and ICD-10
- Appeals and denials
- HMO and PPO experience
- Patient posting and health care management
Desirable Qualifications:
- Government specialist experience
- Medical/Medicare experience
- Hospital billing experience
