Description This person will be performing tasks such as coordinating referral appointments, sending referral forms to health records, answering phone calls, verifying insurance information, and assisting where needed. The ideal candidate is open to being cross-trained. - Must have insurance knowledge (HMO is a plus) - Customer service experience - Will be managing 40-50 referrals per day (web referrals but you may occasionally need to call insurances for eligibility) - Enter authorizations into system. - Contact patients with requests, schedule appointments, and go the extra mile if patients need assistance Skills prior authorization, insurance verification, data entry, electronic health record, medical terminology, patient intake, Referrals Additional Skills & Qualifications Medical Office Admin Support Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
