This individual will be sitting at the switchboard for the Hospital, transferring and answering all calls.
- All incoming calls, answer the call itself and direct it to the correct department, employee, etc.
- Relay information to patients around hours, information desk info, and communicate this to all logistical employees throughout hospital
- Answer patient questions and request for information. If they don't know the answer put the patient on hold and get answers before answering.
- Taking emergency calls
- Take down patient information for admissions, discharges and transfers. Track admissions and discharges per patients.
- Any long distance calls are made by this department.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
