What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Card Specialist position at TEKsystems?
*Description*
-Processing loan and credit card payments (50% of day).
-Miscellaneous credit card adjustments (statement requests, rewards, credit lines - 40% of day).
-Processing credit card applications (10% of day).
-Work closely with Business Partners and Credit Card Management to assure all issues with the cards program are resolved and assure compliance with regulations.
-Recommend and implement changes to the credit card procedures to improve efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
-Be the main contact for the frontlines for all credit card related questions.
-Responsible for completing operational requests from the frontline.
-Provide back up support for other Card Department Specialists to ensure credit and gift card processes are completed in a timely manner.
*Qualifications*
MUST HAVEs:
-Banking experience, 1 year of Teller experience OR financial operations experience
-Computer skills
-MS office programs (Outlook)
- HS diploma

-college education
SOFT SKILLS
-Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
-Must have the ability to prioritize workflow and handle multiple activities.
-The ability to complete tasks by following general guidelines and policies is essential.
