*Join Our Team as a Crisis Line Counselor!*
Are you passionate about mental health and making a difference in people's lives? We are looking for dedicated Crisis Line Counselor to join our team and provide crucial support to those in need.
*What You'll Do:* As a Crisis Line Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals reaching out through 988 and Lifeline Crisis Chats/Texts. Your role will involve providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and treatment referrals in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner. You'll fill open crisis line shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights, ensuring that help is always available.
You'll assess each caller for suicide risk, create safety/action plans, and offer follow-up support to at-risk individuals. Your detailed documentation and adherence to call management guidelines will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our crisis center. Additionally, you'll assist with reporting on crisis center data, updating the community resource database, and participating in quality assurance efforts.
*What We're Looking For:*
* Experience in Behavioral Health, Crisis Intervention, or Mental Health fields.
* Healthcare Call Center experience is a plus.
* Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Russian is a bonus, but all additional languages are welcomed.
*Shift Openings:*
* Tues-Sat 3pm - 11:30pm
* Tues-Sat 11pm - 7:30am (2 positions available)

The pay range for this position is $22.64 - $22.64
