We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Data Center Technician in La Crosse, WI. This person will help ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the data center, working closely with the Lead Technician.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Installing and managing network cables.
* Racking and stacking servers and other hardware components.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
* Assist the Data Center Lead in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
* Maintain and monitor power supply systems and air conditioning units.
* Conduct regular maintenance work for facilities, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Collaborate with the networking team to support data center infrastructure.
*Required Skills: *
* Associate degree in an Information Technology related field
* 2 years of experience in an IT position
* Previous experience installing and managing network cablings, racking and stacking servers, and troubleshooting hardware is preferred but not required.
* Previous experience in facilities maintenance in a data center is preferred.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
