What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop & Field Services Support EPIC IMPLEMENTATION position at TEKsystems?
*Description*
I will need 8 PC deployment technicians who will be working from as soon as possible. They will be swapping out VDI Terminals with actual PCs. Their skill set should include:
Very comfortable:
Must have a valid driver's license a the resource will drive between sites using their own car or drive the client van. (TBD)
Important: Consultant communication and hardware deployment experience.
Must be vaccinated or willing to take the flu and Covid vaccines
a.Deployment of PC HW - PCs, displays, peripherals
b.Win 11 OS
c.Installation of SW apps or drivers
d.Experience with SCCM as the delivery tool for SW
e.AD experience - minimal but understanding groups etc.
f.One drive and data set up
g.Network print environment
h.VDI experience so they can verify from old HW & apps to new PC deployments
i.Good communication skills - they will be dealing w clinicians to do migration from old to new.
j.Must appear as a professional. - I think you know what I mean.
k.Must be reliable and MUST stay until May 30th. I cant have them walk out on us if we bring them on.
l.Must have car and be flexible to move around
m.Flexible as far as working hours as some areas where we install will not be in the 8-5 M-F window, possibly weekends.
