We are seeking 10 entry-level Desktop Support Technicians to join our team for a long-term project. This role involves replacing and upgrading a large number of PCs and laptops, as well as installing new systems across various locations. The project includes refreshing 5,000 desktops/laptops to meet current recommendations.
*Key Details:*
* Duration: 13 months (until May 2026)
* Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST)
* Location: On-site in Sioux Falls, SD, with occasional day trips to other locations such as Aberdeen, Mitchell, Yankton, and Marshall.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide desktop support, including hardware and software installation
* Deploy single sign-on badges and new systems
* Refresh workstations to meet current standards
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Collaborate with team members and provide strong customer support
*Qualifications:*
* Basic knowledge and experience in desktop support
* Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
* Strong teamwork and customer service skills
* Having exposure to an IT enviornment is preferred but not required.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
