What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at TEKsystems?
*Description:*
Our customer is looking to bring on 2 consultants for a 1 year contract with possibility for extension. These consultants will provide factory deskside, depot or IT service center support in the problem isolation and repair of Personal Computing Hardware. The technician will be supporting the factory environment as well as the office areas in the building in Orangeburg, SC. The technician will also support LAN hardware, projectors, local software loads, file saves/restores, functional tests.
*Skills:*
1) Break/fix computer hardware support for Windows 10/11 desktops/laptops, as well as monitors, printers, projectors
2) Basic networking experience (troubleshooting/supporting LAN hardware)
3) Re-imaging/loading/deployment experience
CompTIA A or Network preferred
(networking knowledge and skills, covering topics like network infrastructure, security, and troubleshooting).
*Hours:*
1 technician for first shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
1 technician for second shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.50/hr.
