Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the design and development of ETL processes using IBM DataStage
*Manage and mentor a team of DataStage developers, providing guidance and support on best practices and technical issues.
*Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specifications.
*Developer and maintain complex ETL jobs, data pipelines and transformations.
*Optimize ETL processes for performance scalability, and reliability.
*Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, providing timely solutions and documentation.
*Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
*Assist in planning and execution of data migration and integration projects.
Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
*5-7 years' experience leading and managing ETL development projects and teams.
*Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database design.
*Proficiency in SQL and experience and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
*Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
*Experience with version control )e.g., GIT, SVN.)
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
