TEKsystems large Retail client is in need of a Sr. Field tech with a focus on Audio Visual and Video conferencing technology (TEAMS) to join their team. This individual will be responsible for handling situations as it pertains to AV issues and helping with set ups. They will be asked to come to sites as needed and must have great troubleshooting, maintenance and communication skills.

1. Proven Experience as an Audio Visual Technician
2. Proven Experience with AV receivers, media players, microphones, power speakers, mixers.
3. Proven Experience with Microsoft Teams kits would or other Video Teleconference equipment
4 days a week onsite In Salisbury NC and 1 day working from home.
Some travel to neighboring cities quarterly.
Working closing with executive-providing white glove support.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of audio visual commercial integration .
Position Description :
Responsible for field system commissioning and troubleshooting
Responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance and support of electronic communication systems, including but not limited to professional video display systems, Telepresence, Video-Conferencing and AV control system solutions
Troubleshoots and repairs audio visual and IT components
Trains and instructs the customer on the proper use of the equipment
Assists with preventive maintenance and upgrades of customer hardware and software components
Required Experience and Skills :
At least 5 years of audio visual commercial integration industry experience in the role of an Audio Visual Field Technician
Experience troubleshooting and supporting Video Conferencing and / or Telepresence systems such as Microsoft Teams, Polycom, Tandberg, Cisco, etc.
Knowledge and experience in the IT network communications a plus
Exceptional customer service skills
Education and Certifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent
CTS and / or CTS-I certification preferred
Audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications a plus (Q-SYS / BSS / Polycom / Cisco / AMX / Crestron / NEC / Bi-AMP / etc)
