What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guidewire Developer position at TEKsystems?
We are hiring a Guidewire Developer to join our team remotely!
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and configure Guidewire applications to meet business requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and customer service.
* Implement and maintain Guidewire solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with software architecture and design patterns.
* Work on Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting, UI, Data Model) and integrate with web services (XML, JSON).
* Utilize Java/J2EE frameworks and work with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
* Participate in SCRUM Agile processes and potentially act as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
* Manage estimation, team leading, and mentoring tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of Guidewire platform and products (PolicyCenter)
* Java/Gosu development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Guidewire Certification.
* Experience in the insurance domain, particularly with Property & Casualty

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00
