* *Application Development and Support:* Develop and maintain Windows-based applications across both server and desktop environments, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
* *Code Quality and Maintenance:* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using Java and modern open-source technologies such as Angular and React. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
* *DevOps and Version Control:* Utilize Azure DevOps, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and version control, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
* *Documentation and Monitoring:* Document development and operational procedures comprehensively. Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
* *Industry Best Practices:* Apply industry best practices for software development, including automated integration, test-driven development, reusable code principles, object-oriented design, and software configuration management.
* *Quality Assurance and Collaboration:* Conduct thorough code reviews, unit testing, and peer reviews. Collaborate closely with QA teams to document and define test criteria, ensuring high-quality software releases.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Java technologies
* Ability to work on a hybrid basis in Madison, WI
* Experienced with full stack applications (Java, React, Angular)
* Previous experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
