A day in the role…
The Billing Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring orders are tasked appropriately between different systems. The Billing Support Specialist is designed to streamline patient orders to avoid any unnecessary delays.
· Calling providers for medical records.
· Reviewed records for accuracy.
· Obtained needed documents for missing information on records.
· Request necessary documentation (chartnotes, prescription request, medical records, etc) to bill Medicare.
Necessary Skills and Strengths:
Medical Records | DME experience | EMR
Core Experience:
· Must have EPIC or BrightTree experience
· 2 years of medical record retrieval by calling providers and working in a que
· Must have knowledge of Oxygen records
· Medicare experience is a plus!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
