*General Responsibilities & Duties*
* This position provides recommendations of technology and solutions to department leadership.
* This position will be responsible for a complex healthcare environment that includes Primary and Secondary data centers.
* The position responsibilities include the efficient design, implementation and ongoing support of all hospital network and server infrastructure and supported systems.
* This also includes safeguarding information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
* This position provides recommendations of technology and solutions to department leadership.
* This position will be responsible for a complex healthcare environment that includes Primary and Secondary data centers.
*Qualifications & Skills:*
* 2-5 years of relevant experience
* In-depth knowledge of networking devices such as Routers, Switches, WLC's, etc.
* CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or similar Network/Security certification strongly preferred
* In-depth knowledge of networking protocols HTTP, VOIP, TCP/IP, etc.
* Good understanding of network cabling e.g. copper, fiber and their characteristics.
* Strong understanding of OSI Model
* Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and Purdue Reference Model a plus
* Ability to communicate and document network design and issues to all levels within the company and its clients
* Willing and able to travel to client locations including offshore US and international locations
* Knowledge and experience with industrial control systems and networks is a plus
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide options to overcome challenges.
* Must be a self-starter with the ability and drive to own and deliver a project work package with minimum guidance and support.
