Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our data center operations, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network systems.
Your primary duties will include racking and stacking new equipment, installing circuit jumpers, populating switch ports with optical transceivers, and performing pre-termination procedures. You will also be responsible for terminating low-voltage devices, following prints, and completing all paperwork accurately and on time.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience working with fiber optics, including handling and running single-mode and multi-mode jumpers. A good understanding of patching and running fiber jumpers in a data center environment is essential. Troubleshooting fiber optic circuits with VFL, power meter, and loop back is also preferred.
