Job Description
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supervising and monitoring all construction jobs assigned to contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Control (QC) Job Design: Review and approve job designs prior to issuance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Construction Job Monitoring: Regularly monitor the status of construction jobs to ensure timely completion and adherence to project milestones.
- Quality Control: Perform on-site quality control checks to verify completed jobs meet specifications and standards.
- Billing and Invoicing: Verify production reports and invoices to confirm accurate billing and payment.
- Utility Construction Cost Estimates: Provide estimates for utility construction projects, including materials and labor costs.
- Project Walkout: Conduct walk-through inspections to ensure project completion meets quality and safety standards.
- Stand Mapping: Create and update detailed maps of construction sites to facilitate efficient project management.
- Pipe Proofing: Inspect and test pipes to ensure they are installed correctly and meet quality standards.
- Design Review and Approval: Review and approve design plans and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Request for Proposal/Labor Bid Processing: Manage the procurement process for labor and materials, ensuring fair and transparent bidding practices.
- Material Requests: Coordinate with vendors to obtain necessary materials and equipment for construction projects.
- Pole Permit Application Submittal: Submit permit applications for pole installations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Construction Contractor Management: Oversee and manage relationships with contractors, ensuring timely project completion and high-quality results.
- Manage Project Milestones to SLA: Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Project Build Quality Assurance/Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure completed projects meet quality and safety standards.
- Review and Approve Project As-builts: Verify and approve as-built drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and Approve Contractor Invoicing: Verify and approve contractor invoices to ensure accurate billing and payment.
- Update Workfront with Project Progress and Required/Requested Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in Workfront, including progress updates and required/requested information.
- Ensure Project Material Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile project materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with Developers, Contractors, client Internal Departments, and all other parties involved to ensure timely project completion
Requirements:
- OSPIST or equivalent certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in construction management or related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
