What are the responsibilities and job description for the OSP/Data Center Technician position at TEKsystems?
Job Duties:
* Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.
* Carry and load materials to be used on the job.
* Maintain professional appearance.
* Must be willing to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months.
* Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
* Safety training as required by position.
* Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.
* Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed.
* Remedial online safety training.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Good communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Confined space experience or training.
* Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Must be able to pass pre-employment and continuing random background, drug, and MVR screenings.

Work Environment: Outside Plant - Data Center expansion. This involves both outside and some inside plant work, construction, and safe data center practices.
We are in need of Outside Plant Technicians to work at a large data center in Los Lunas, NM. Fiber and outside work experience is highly desired. We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, a strong drive, and a solid work ethic.
