The Patient Access Representative is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience by accurately and efficiently managing patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and other related administrative tasks. *Key Responsibilities:*
* *Patient Registration:* Accurately collect and input patient information, including personal details, medical history, and insurance information.
* *Appointment Scheduling:* Schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments, and coordinate any necessary follow-up.
* *Insurance Verification:* Verify patient insurance coverage, pre-authorizations, and benefits eligibility.
* *Billing and Payment Processing:* Assist with billing inquiries, process payments, and provide information about payment options.
* *Customer Service:* Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing information about hospital/clinic services.
* *Record Management:* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* *Collaboration:* Work closely with medical staff, insurance companies, and other departments to facilitate smooth patient access and care coordination.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
