TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Patient Registration Associate in Sterling, VA.
MUST HAVE : 1-2 years of Medical Receptionist experience, EMR Systems preferred, or a recent bachelor's degree.
Description
This individual will be sitting at the front desk of the Orthopedics clinic on the Physical Therapy side. They are responsible for the intake of new and returning patients. They are going to be inputting patient information into the EMR. They will also be responsible for scheduling new and follow up appointments. They will be taking in insurance information and verifying coverage and then sending them back to their appointments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months- 1 year of healthcare related experience is great, fast learner, EMR experience is preferred, bilingual Spanish would be preferred but not necessary, Bachelor's degree will cover some experience
Any experience with Nextgen would be great
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 / hr.
