Job Summary :
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant to join us. In this role, you will specialize in the design and development of automated container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures. You'll learn to design and guide implementations of cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters using Java, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Ansible Automation, and Red Hat OpenShift. As a Senior Consultant, you won't be expected to know everything on day one, but your ability to learn new technologies quickly will be essential.
Required Skills :
- 8 years of software architecture experience; 4 of those years specifically focused on cloud-ready application design and deployment
- Some experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative
- Solid creative problem-solving skills
- Background working in a strategic advisory capacity with senior IT and business executives
- Excellent presentation and communication skills

Job summary
Red Hat's Public Sector Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant focused on Red Hat Ansible Automation to join us in sunny Florida. In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key government agencies. You'll work on the customer site to win the trust and confidence of customer engineering, development, and operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with functional capabilities of our solutions. As a Senior Consultant, you'll need to have detailed working knowledge of and practical experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation and a high level of familiarity with Chef, Puppet, Salt, and similar technologies on the market. You'll also need to use your solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools to apply them within target organizations. This is a remote position with weekly Monday-Thursday travel to customer sites. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business and hold an active clearance.
