*Description*
*Serve as a Router Team Operator for the 26th NOS.
*Oversee intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, boundary protection and vulnerability assessment operations to defend the Air Force Network (AFNet).
*Investigate and rectify malfunctions in network hardware and other systems to ensure service continuity.
*Meticulously monitor and manage all WAN circuits, ensuring optimal performance.
*Respond promptly to remote assistance requests from colleagues and service partners, providing expert technical support.
*Create and maintain comprehensive network support and implementation handover documentation for the Helpdesk.
*Manage assigned tasks and projects independently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
*Provide backup support to other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
*Undertake any other assignments or duties as directed by management, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
*Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across multiple devices to include routers, switches, firewalls, and management systems.
*Understand and implement disaster recovery procedures.
*Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs
*Participate in the implementation of agreed upon solutions and strategies.
*Troubleshoot technology issues, using various internal and external resources.
*Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems.
*Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes for assigned tasks and projects.
*Participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality.
