About the Role
This position is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to clients, as well as performing technical and requirements analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MECM, Windows, VMware, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
Key Responsibilities
- Build application packages into MECM and deploy onto servers and workstations.
- Provides application/Windows OS installation/configuration/patching as well as data reporting leveraging Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
- Create and maintain workstation images and build new systems using a standard imaging process.
- Create, update, and maintain automated application deployment packages.
- Develop software installation scripts for software installations.
- Develop/implement operating systems' downloads for supported workstations.
- Assist in software installation package distribution and troubleshooting.
- Design, implement and configure the COTS/GOTS software needed to support enterprise infrastructure.
- Provide user support and guidance.
- Research, evaluate, and remain current on emerging tools, techniques, and IT technologies.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of MECM, Windows, VMware, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
- Experience with software installation, configuration, and patching.
- Ability to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
