Our client is seeking Logistics Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an on-site position located at a client warehouse facility in Sterling, VA. This position will provide surge capacity to thecleints warehouse facility to support end user and network teams. The qualified applicant will become part of a client's Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) program.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities may include:

• Performs shipping/receiving activities related to receive, store, and/or ship materials.

• Ensures materials are receipted, delivered to inventory, staged/stored, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner.

• Unpacks and packs materials to support the efficient processing and configuration of hardware by responsible teams.

• Creates and affixes shipping labels to materials to support accurate outbound shipments.

• Ensures the warehouse is organized and material is efficiently stored/staged to support day-to-day warehouse operations.

• Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.

• Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per schedules.

• Drives vehicles to transport material from the warehouse to other locations, as required.

• Performs other logistics related activities as required.

• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.

• The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• The employee is required to drive and transport materials from the warehouse to other locations.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
