Senior Systems Administrator / Technical Architect Public Trust with the ability to Obtain and Maintain a DOE Q Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required) Piketon, Ohio 4 / 10s with 3 days needing to be on-site, more if needed Responsibilities include : - Provide primary support and management of the IT server infrastructure and hosted systems. - Support first-tier technical staff with the resolution of more complex issues related to software tools, applications, databases, and system access. - Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems for end users, with primary emphasis on server-related issues. - Support System Administration of primary VMware platforms across the site, among other technologies - Provide troubleshooting support for IT staff. - Recommend hardware and software solutions to meet end user and IT needs. - Support Cyber Security compliance and audit preparation in coordination with the Cyber Security Team. - Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into both operational and project objectives. - Remain conversant with the industrys computer security technology and practices with technical skills and applicable experience with related technologies. - Define and document best practices and support procedures. What Sets You Apart : Bachelors degree in computer science and at least 5 years relevant experience. An additional 5 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree, with four or more of the technical categories listed below. - Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems; - Oracle, RHEL & Linux Operating Systems; - VMWare Horizon View, vCenter, vSphere; - Microsoft SCCM, System Center Suite and Patch Management, - Microsoft 365, EntraID and Exchange Hybrid environments - Active Directory; - SAN Infrastructure; - Disaster recovery / contingency planning; - DFS Namespace and Replication, - DNS, DHCP; - Microsoft Certificate Authority, SSL certificates, KMS licensing - Dell Wyse Management - Experience working in a fast paced environment with competing priorities. - Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into both operational and project objectives. - Remain conversant with the industrys computer security technology and practices with technical skills and applicable experience with related technologies.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 / hr.
