Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Underground Laborer to join our telecommunications crew. The successful candidate will assist in the installation of Outside Plant (OSP) underground fiber optic cables. This role involves physical labor, operating machinery, and ensuring the safe and efficient installation of fiber infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the installation of OSP underground fiber optic cables.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery.
- Dig trenches and lay conduit for fiber optic cables.
- Perform site preparation and cleanup.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment.
