What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vulnerability Management Engineer position at TEKsystems?
*Description*
You will be joining one of the largest independent wealth management firms, and they have acquired 6 other broker-dealer firms within the last 5 years. They are going through a 3-4 year digital modernization and cloud transformation to stay competitive with FinTechs, and to improve the Financial Advisor and customer experience.
Project Story: Within the CISO organization, the Attack Surface Management Team is responsible for vulnerability management, threat intelligence and pen testing. Presently a two person team, this person will come in and help with vulnerability management. From a day-to-day perspective, this role is going to be rather data heavy - assessing scans, looking for gaps, etc. While their roadmap includes automation, they are more manual when it comes to processing this vulnerability-specific data, which requires downloading data, parsing it and sending spreadsheets to remediation owners.
