Aquatic Field Technician
Location: Alto, MI
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Join a leading lake and pond management company in Michigan as an Aquatic Field Technician/Applicator starting March 2025. This seasonal role (8-9 months) offers potential for advancement based on performance. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts passionate about aquatic resources and career growth in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage aquatic plants and algae using approved herbicides.
- Operate boats, trucks, and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and inventory.
- Perform fountain, aeration, and equipment maintenance.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan driver’s license (chauffeur’s license and DOT card required; assistance provided).
- Obtain MDARD pesticide applicator certifications (training provided).
- Able to lift 50 lbs, follow directions, and work outdoors in summer.
- Available Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM.
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
Experience with boats, trucks, GPS, or maps is a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
