Job Title: Sr. Process Engineer
Location: Morgantown, WV (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Role Overview:
The Sr. Process Engineer will provide critical technical support for aseptic beverage manufacturing, impacting the startup's future growth. This role involves planning, designing, and managing systems to improve operations, including process validation, equipment maintenance, and continuous feedback systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and improve low acid aseptic processes (dairy receiving, pasteurization, UHT, aseptic filling)
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing failures
- Ensure compliance with USDA/FDA regulations
- Author validation and SOP documents
- Collaborate across functions (engineering, quality, supply chain)
- Provide technical leadership in CIP and training for employees
- Manage capital and expense projects
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years in aseptic processing or GMP-regulated environment
- Experience with low acid aseptic and ESL manufacturing preferred
- Proficient in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and data analysis
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Prolonged periods at a desk and computer

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Education:

Experience:
- Process Engineer in food and beverages industry: 5 years (Required)
- Aseptic processing and low-acid aseptic manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
- GMP-regulated environment: 5 years (Required)
- Root cause analysis methodologies, 8D, fishbone: 3 years (Required)
- Extended Shelf Life in food/beverage manufacturing processes: 3 years (Required)
