Quality Control Technician
Location: Zanesville, OH (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 AM – 3 PM
Job Summary:
Seeking a Quality Control Technician for a food manufacturing facility, specifically in egg production and processing. The role involves monitoring food safety, conducting inspections, performing lab tests, and ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and quality standards..
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operational equipment and facility inspections.
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP) and enforce GMPs and safety protocols.
- Perform sample collection, environmental monitoring, and basic lab tests (pH, moisture).
- Maintain accurate records and calibrate equipment.
- Assist with GMP audits and act as a backup for the Quality Lab Technician.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel.
- Experience in food manufacturing or lab work is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and adherence to sanitary procedures.
