Design Engineer I, II, III – Sand Springs, OK
Full-Time Direct Hire
We have three openings for Design Engineers (I, II, III) responsible for Production Engineering of sold products. These roles serve as technical leads for assigned jobs and support other projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review & apply project specifications to design & fabrication drawings.
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients, ensuring problem resolution & document approvals.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Welding Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Perform and/or verify design calculations.
- Create pre-BOMs for long-lead materials & oversee drafting personnel for fabrication drawings.
- Review, modify, and check fabrication drawings while supporting Purchasing & Manufacturing.
- Maintain organized electronic records.
- Design Engineer III also mentors junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Design Engineer I: Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field OR Associate’s 2 years of experience OR 5 years of direct industry experience.
- Design Engineer II: Bachelor’s OR Associate’s 5 years OR 10 years of direct experience. (Minimum 2 years with shell & tube heat exchangers or pressure vessels.)
- Design Engineer III: Bachelor’s OR Associate’s 10 years OR 15 years of direct experience. (Minimum 10 years with shell & tube heat exchangers or pressure vessels, ASME VIII Div. 1 expertise, welding knowledge, and proficiency in RCS/COMPRESS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
