Batch Plant Manager – Fort Worth, TX (Full-Time, Direct Hire)
Job Overview:
The Batch Plant Manager will oversee daily laboratory operations, including quality control testing, mix designs, and reporting for concrete compressive and flexural strength. This role involves close collaboration with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and ownership to maintain quality standards and ensure smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate testing schedules with internal stakeholders
- Conduct regular testing and record data
- Manage inventory of admixtures and raw materials
- Ensure proper lab equipment operation and maintenance
- Recommend and assist with process and equipment improvements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in concrete, mortar, or cement testing
- Ready mix design and batch design expertise
- ACI certification and knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO standards
- Team management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education & Physical Requirements:
- High school diploma or Associate degree
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments
- Must have reliable transportation
Office Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Overtime may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
