Environmental Project Manager – Remediation
Location: Denver, CO (Onsite) | Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental remediation projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget. This role involves both field and office work, including site assessments, groundwater monitoring, and regulatory compliance. Candidates must have strong leadership, technical expertise, and client interaction skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple environmental projects, including remediation and site characterization.
- Supervise staff and subcontractors while ensuring quality and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop proposals, manage budgets, and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare and review technical reports, maps, and environmental assessments.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Oversee drilling, soil/groundwater sampling, well installation, and remediation technologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: MS in Geology, Hydrology, or Environmental Science preferred; BS required.
- Experience: 10 years in environmental consulting, including remediation and hydrogeology; 5 years in project management.
- Certifications: Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required; CABI, AMS, or CHMM preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in drilling methods, site assessments, remediation techniques, and regulatory compliance (CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, VCUP, OPS).
- Other: Strong communication, leadership, and proposal development skills. Valid driver’s license required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
