Job Overview
We are seeks a skilled Service Manager to lead our Service Department. This role oversees service operations, manages personnel, ensures customer satisfaction, and drives departmental goals. Responsibilities include budgeting, team training, performance appraisals, and ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate the service team to meet performance goals.
- Handle recruiting, training, and staff evaluations.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and identify business growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- Oversee budgeting, repair orders, and warranty administration.
- Communicate departmental goals and foster interdepartmental collaboration.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Trucks or Automotive dealership experience (3 in management).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products.
- Proficient in dealer management systems (CDK Global preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Education:
- College degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in varied environments, and travel as needed.
