What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Governance Consultant position at TekValue IT Solutions?
- 10 years’ experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardship
- Hands-on experience with programing languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, Python and others is plus
- Experience leveraging the MS Purview Data Governance portal for data management and enabling various cross domain use cases
- Deep understanding of data governance capabilities including data catalog, data dictionary, business lineage, technical lineage and stewardship workflows
- Responsible for integrating with new data sources for metadata acquisition.
- Work closely with project teams to help with delivering catalog use cases which include design, configuration and deployment.
- Validate lineage diagrams and modify/change as required.
