Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality through manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand the functionality and design of software.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers) to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
