What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator2nd Shift Pressman or Weekend Shift Pressman position at Tekvivid?
The Client is looking for 2nd Shift ( Monday Through Thursday 5 PM to 3 AM ) and Weekend Shift ( Friday Through Monday 64)
Expected hours : 40 60 per week / 10 hour shift / 4 days work
Printing and Packaging background is a Huge Plus
KBA AND KOMORI or Similar machines experience
Pressman experience; and Manufacturing experience
Responsibilities and Accountability
- Set up operation and maintenance of the printing press
- Perform make ready operations efficiently as possible to achieve efficient workflow
- Perform visual and instrumental inspections during press run to maintain color and quality
- Identify and remove any defective sheets
- Run press at acceptable speeds to achieve productivity and quality goals
- Alert supervisor of any problems with equipment materials or quality issues
- Perform all required quality sign offs
- Ability to mix inks when necessary
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Performs other related duties as assigned
