Job Description :
Clients Final Assembly Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Assembly Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead equipment and vehicle planning standardization and Equipment installations for Client.
Reporting to the Final Assembly Engineering Manager the person in this role will support the Final Assemblys departments objective to plan future Assembly plant activities at Client.
What youll be doing :
30%) Equipment Planning for upcoming model changes / Plant introduction
30%) Standardize layouts / designs for future model
30%) Install and implement new process equipment
10%) New Technology investigations / Special Projects and proof of concepts
Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Client
Requirements : What you bring :
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Degree
MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Ability to travel up to 25% to all NAMs as well as Japan / Canada / Mexico
Ability to work up to 30% overtime (Weekend and shut down periods) 1012 hours shift
This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record thats acceptable by company standards is required for this position
This position will require support for equipment installation and start up for both Summer and Winter Shutdown periods including potential to support 2nd shift activities; candidate must be able to meet these schedules as required
This person will work on Shop floor Basic PPE.
