Job Description/ Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Senior Developer with a strong background in C#/.Net (Core and Framework), REST and SOAP API, SQL Server, and GitHub. The ideal candidate should excel in logical reasoning, programming, and debugging skills, and be able to communicate effectively with customers onsite.
- This role demands a proactive individual with 6 to 8 years of experience, ready to tackle complex software development challenges and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Utilize extensive hands-on experience in C#/.Net (Core and Framework), REST and SOAP API (IIS hosted), SQL Server, and GitHub.
- API Development: Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, including calling vendor-defined third-party APIs.
- Batch Jobs: Write windows service batch jobs or preferably APIs with equivalent functions.
- File Processing: Handle file processing and error handling functions.
- Database Management: Work with vendor-supplied databases and optimize queries for performance.
- Version Control: Proficient in using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with customers onsite.
- Logical Reasoning: Apply strong logical reasoning and debugging skills to solve complex problems.
- JSON and XML: Work proficiently with JSON and XML.
Top 3 Skills Required:
1. C#/.Net Development:
- Extensive hands-on knowledge in C#/.Net (Core and Framework)
- Proficiency in developing REST and SOAP APIs
2.SQL Server:
- Strong experience with SQL Server queries and stored procedures
- Ability to optimize queries for performance
3.GitHub and GitHub Actions:
- Experience with version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) using GitHub and GitHub Actions
Nice to Have:
- Experience with API testing tools like SoapUI or Postman
- Familiarity with Jira
- Knowledge of messaging engines, preferably RabbitMQ
