Job Description:
- Software Development Engineers in Test are involved in all aspects of quality assurance activities for a scrum team.
- Working closely with other Quality Engineers, SDETs, Developers and Product Managers
- SDETs leverage and grow their knowledge to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) to ensure a high-quality product for customers.
- Responsibilities include - Develop, automate, and maintain highly effective test cases in a CI/CD environment during each sprint of the Agile life cycle
- Work closely with scrum team to understand features, articulate problems, and influence the quality and design of our products.
- Develop and execute test strategies requiring manual or automated testing.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and triage product and automation issues
- Document, investigate and communicate defects discovered during test execution
- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, representing QA to provide estimates, test status and risk assessment
- Design and development of test plans for specific programs and applications.
- Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes.
- Software testing experience in a client/server environment.
- Degree in Computer Science or Technical Certifications. Business/functional knowledge helpful.
Must Haves:
- 5 years of experience working in software quality assurance with at least 3 years building automated test solutions close Front-end and back-end automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and REST Assured close Object oriented programming experience in Java close Source Control (e.g. Git) close SQL
- API test automation
- Jenkins CICD
- SQL Experience
- Strong Java skills
Nice to Have
- Ability to develop and execute test strategy for web or windows applications having a high degree of complexity
- CI with Jenkins
- Containerization with Kubernetes
- IDE like Intellij
- Multidimensional Database Concept
