Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Work closely with Workday functional teams to ensure seamless integration of custom solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of custom solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications and extensions
- Stay up-to-date with Workday updates and new features to continuously improve and optimize custom solutions
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications and extensions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in Workday Extend development
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, XML, and XSLT
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
"Must-have" skills and years of experience:
- Workday Integrations (2-3 years)
- Workday Extend (2-3 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certification in Extend or other relevant areas
- Experience with Workday Studio
- Knowledge of HR processes and systems
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs

- PRISM Education needed for this position:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Industry experience needed for this role and why:
- Workday Extend is a very specific skillset, candidates without the proper experience in Workday Extend in HR implementations won't be considered.
